1. Our accessibility commitment
We aim to provide a website and property platform that can be used by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Accessibility is considered during design, development, testing and future improvement of Smart Property AI.
2. Accessibility standards
We aim to develop and test the platform with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, particularly WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
This is a development target and should not be treated as a formal claim of full conformance until an appropriate accessibility audit has been completed.
3. Current accessibility features
Depending on the page and development stage, Smart Property AI includes or is intended to include:
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls.
- A skip link to the main page content.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Semantic headings and page regions.
- Programmatically connected form labels.
- Screen-reader status and error messages.
- Text-size controls.
- A high-contrast display option.
- Responsive layouts for different screen sizes.
- Reduced-motion support.
- Multilingual interface controls.
- Optional voice input and spoken responses.
- Text alternatives to voice-controlled functions.
- Clear form validation and error descriptions.
4. Keyboard navigation
Users should be able to move through links, buttons, form controls and interactive features using the keyboard.
Common keyboard controls include:
- Tab: move to the next interactive element.
- Shift + Tab: move to the previous interactive element.
- Enter: activate a selected link or button.
- Space: activate certain buttons or selections.
- Escape: close supported menus or dialogs.
5. Voice-activated forms
Supported forms may allow users to provide information through speech. The platform should explain which field is active and ask the user to confirm captured information before submission.
Voice functions are optional. Every voice-controlled process should also provide keyboard and text-based controls.
6. Multilingual support
The platform is designed to support multiple interface and conversation languages.
Translation and speech recognition may not have the same level of accuracy for every language, accent or regional variation. Users should review important information before submitting it.
7. Visual guidance
Guided forms may highlight the active field and explain what information is required.
Instructions should not depend exclusively on color. Text, labels, icons or status messages should also communicate the relevant information.
8. Images and alternative text
Meaningful images should include appropriate text alternatives. Decorative images should be hidden from assistive technologies where appropriate.
Property images may require descriptions from the person publishing the listing. Automatically generated image descriptions may contain errors and should be reviewed.
9. Documents
Some uploaded documents may originate from landlords, tenants or external service providers and may not be fully accessible.
Where reasonably possible, users may request an accessible version or assistance understanding a document.
10. Known limitations
During development, some parts of the platform may not yet meet the intended accessibility standard. Possible limitations may include:
- Uploaded documents that are scans without selectable text.
- Property images without sufficiently detailed descriptions.
- Speech recognition errors for certain languages or accents.
- External maps, payment interfaces or communication services.
- New dashboard components awaiting accessibility testing.
- AI-generated explanations that require clearer wording or correction.
11. External services
Smart Property AI may connect to external services such as maps, payment providers, calendars, WhatsApp, telephone systems or smart-home devices.
We may not control every accessibility feature offered by an external provider. Where possible, we will provide an alternative method or instructions for obtaining assistance.
12. Accessibility feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us:
- The page or feature you were using.
- The problem you experienced.
- Your browser and device, if known.
- The assistive technology you were using, if relevant.
- Your preferred way to receive a response.

13. Alternative access
If you cannot access information or complete a process through the website, contact us to request reasonable assistance or an alternative format.
14. Testing and improvement
Accessibility should be reviewed through automated testing, keyboard testing, screen-reader testing, zoom and reflow testing, color-contrast testing and feedback from users with disabilities.
New features should be reviewed before public release and again when significant changes are made.
